Joe Offer...NPR may be an organization you don't want to risk offending, but this seems newsworthy. If this needs to be deleted, so be it, but I bet most of the Mudcat folks don't know about it.

National Public Radio is supposed to be a 'liberal' media outlet, right? I know that NPR is where we get 4 hours of uninterrupted folk music on Saturdays in Austin. Well, NPR is now headed by a former CIA man:

So, folks, is CIA control of NPR good or bad? I think it's bad.
