That's why I put a question mark after the Pacifica link, MR. Just thought it might be something folks would like to look into. Do you know who's in charge now and what their resume is? Any CIA involvement? If Ms Wash could get in, couldn't others? Do you have some links to post about Pacifica...some updates?

And yes, Bobert, you are probably right, judging from the couple of quick, shrill responses. I bet this is a touchy topic...probably due to funding issues. The CIA running NPR, though...that's a kick in the solar plexus. To me, at any rate.
