There's quite a lot of messages in this thread, and I can't say I read them all, but you might try Archie Fisher's "Witch of the Westmorelands" (at least I believe it's his), which Stan Rogers recorded on (as I recall) "Between the Breaks." Wounded knight saved by a witch. Stan Rogers' "Giant" is not witch-specific, but definitely has some of the feel of the old faiths. Dar Williams did one about the Christians and the pagans sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner that's pretty funny, reminds me of someone's experience from this thread visiting a capital-C Christian, and is mostly focussed on religious tolerance. Unfortunately, most True Believers in anything tend to write fairly preachy songs, and tend to lose their sense of humour and perspective when they sit down to write. Kipling wrote "Oak, Ash and Thorn," which has been set to music by a few pagans, but you'd have to track those down through other sources. Good luck, blessings & good faring.
