They do bed and breakfast at reasonable rates, and are expecting your call. They also have a caravan where people with sleeping bags can crash for a nominal fee. The Red lion also does B&B at a reasonable rate, and residents aren't subject to licensing hours. I haven't got the phone number handy, but can get it if needed. There's an interesting canal museum for those interested in narrowboats. As I spent four years in various parts of Wales I can attest to the natives' tolerance of saesnegg! I've talked to the landlady of the Red Lion, and she's prepared to accommodate people at a cheap rate, there are other places people can stay, including our house if you don't mind dogs and cats. Food isn't a problem, I can cook. And we can hang out at the Red most of the time.I can pick people up from Welshpool station if needed. How about it, anyone interested? Hwyl, Bron. |
