At first I was disturbed at the thought of how an immense tidal wave could at any moment come off the North Sea and annihilate Hull, but then I got to thinking about Hull, and I read this thread, and it became plain to me that if Hull were wiped out in an instant, it could only benefit the rest of the British Isles. Hull is unspeakably awful. It's like a nightmare, frozen in time. It's like a thousand days spent eating cold oatmeal while watching the teletubbies! And you know why it's definitely worse than Hell? Because Hell doesn't exist, that's why!
