Carol C....I am 'designated' by alison to help people create calendar pics at the Getaway..if they are willing. I am NOT willing to get my bones broken by the UN-willing..*grin*...I have a digital with a tripod and remote contol...(just like your tv clicker) so YOU can even do the setup & posing and take your OWN picture with no one else in the room, if necessary....(If you have a satellite/laptop connection, we can even email it alison from the Getaway and erase it from the camera, so NO one ever sees it till its published...*big grin*...)

we strives to make it easy, but YOU need to make it happen, as I will be too busy singing to chase you down and beg.

Liz... take it looking from the front of the motorbike, (ie straight along the front wheel to the handlebars)... you lie along the seat.... use whatever you like to cover your bum, (if you want) otherwise the handlebars etc will cover most other things...... *grin*... especially if you hang some instruments from them, (the handlebars.....lol)

Carol, I will help you out by taking the picture! I will PM a couple of ideas to you. Don't want to spill the beans to the rest of the crowd.

This year I have finally found someone who would take the picture for me so I am going to give it a try. How many pictures do you want to choose from Alison?

One of the long long long stocking caps? depends on where you put the pompom whether you look silly or sultry...

Interesting idea, Micca, but I think I'll just look like a complete pillock if I wear your Matadore's hat.

Many years ago, my boyfriend at the time took a trip to Norway and brought back a knitted hat for me with a pom-pom that was almost bigger than the hat. He acted really hurt that I didn't want to wear it.

Knowing him as I did, I told him I thought he just wanted me to wear it so he could have a good laugh at my expense. He admitted it was true. You wouldn't be trying to do anything like that, would you?

I was thinking maybe my Italian accordion, but I don't know what sort of a mood I want to convey. I did sultry and dangerous last year.

My Italian accordion is an off-white pearlescent. Maybe red stockings? But what to put on my head?

Will a regular photo of one holding their instrument in a playing position work? Not having seen a calender before, and only being on one (the Harley dealer makes one with you and your new bike), I'm unsure as to protocol here. I have some of my living room full of musicians - What is the purpose - let me know - I'll scan some and send them if you wish - Steve
