The most elegant couple in Maine just stopped by our farm. Kendall and Jacqui looked wonderful, and it was a delight to show them a little of our efforts here before they headed home.

I know a guy who jacks bulls. Works for an artificial insemination company. The bulls are in a tight pen. I didn't know it was a crime to jack deer in Canada, but they must be some kind of tough poachers up there. I suppose it would be a crime to get the buck deer all excited and then...well, never mind.

Yup. It's called "harassing game". It's a law that is seldom used. It gives the wardens the ability to harass known poachers before they jack deer.

Now, I worked as a part time barmaid in North London in the 70s. I thought that I had learned a lot of 'communication' in the pubs but Kendall has definitely added to my education in that respect.

Not at me, I hasten to add, but even I've been rather surprised at the descriptive terms he can dredge up for the former president, inanimate objects such as kitchen units and cars as well as phone companies that overcharge him.

It's keeping him quiet after operations that gets to be a problem. I think I'll take a roll of duct tape with me next time!
