Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Oaklet Date: 19 Mar 04 - 08:24 PM In another thread, a wise man wrote: "So many guests here, showing such concern. What guest fun I had until I was shown how easily traceable my true ID is". Maybe the small handful of users of comedy guest handles will become as bored of this as they are boring. True; I could have logged-off and written Hugh Janus, Hugh Jampton, Ivor Biggin, Dick Head or something else rib-ticklingly hilarious in the "from" box, but I really couldn't be arsed. I am told that the adoption of an amusing nom-de-plume on internet forums becomes less interesting after the onset of puberty. I live in hope. |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: GUEST,D.S. Lewis Date: 19 Mar 04 - 11:48 AM Oaklet? Surely not. You've been on the Gnat's Widget again, haven't you, sir? |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Oaklet Date: 19 Mar 04 - 10:33 AM That's better. In case this mix-up happens again, remember that ivor's imposter tends not to put a space after his sentences. |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: GUEST,The real ivor bigginin Date: 19 Mar 04 - 10:25 AM I am sorry Mr.Dean, there is an imposter out there trading under my name.I hope my comments, although a little pithy, are never directly insulting to people. Frauds such as this rank outsider are as unimaganitive and boring as the people I am fond of exposing. |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: The DeanMeister Date: 19 Mar 04 - 10:02 AM I'm sorry, but it's not necessary to refer to friends of ours as boring and unimaginative, Ivor. Can we start again in a more friendly fashion? Hope so. Pete. |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: GUEST,ivor bigginin Date: 19 Mar 04 - 09:28 AM Is this the same Dean who used to play with that dreadfull band punch the horse? They are nearly as boring and unimaganitive as that other fraud fron hull, john the oaf. |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Oaklet Date: 19 Mar 04 - 09:11 AM Congratulations. On behalf of the Hull9 membership, I'd like to wish you both happiness for many years to come. Are you having a hand-wringing party like they do in Selby? |

Subject: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: GUEST,Sir Roger at work Date: 19 Mar 04 - 03:33 AM The Dean and I will be playing at the Sun Inn, Beverley on Sunday 4th of April. This will be on the same day as the "First Sunday of the month" session at the Monk's Walk just across the road so we expect to see lots of played out folkies turn up around 9pm to watch us strut our stuff. Those that have seen us play separately and together will know that we both have a very wide range of styles in our repertoire so expect to hear material from Trad to Travis, Buddy Holly to Joe Jackson, Bluegrass to Busted, Oakley to Oasis etc etc R |
