Subject: RE: Lyr Req: salvation army girls From: GUEST,Chuck Date: 19 Aug 21 - 12:34 AM I remember the girls on our high school school bus singing this song. The only verses I remember are the one about the grass skirts, above (but in their version all the boys had lawn mowers), and this one: In my town there is a policeman on every corner boo chained to the lamp post! yaaa |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: salvation army girls From: fretless Date: 12 Apr 07 - 08:41 AM Chorus: Salvation Army, Salvation Army, Throw a nickel on the drum Save another drunken bum. Salvation Army, Salvation Army, Throw a nickel on the drum And save a soul. That one? It doesn't seem to fit the pious to raunchier character, though. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: salvation army girls From: Jim Dixon Date: 12 Apr 07 - 07:48 AM No, but the cymbalism of this song intrigues me. Refresh. |
Subject: Lyr Req: salvation army girls From: GUEST,tiggy Date: 10 Apr 07 - 08:42 AM Does anyone know the name/lyrics to a comic song that I've seen performed by two salvation army girls, one who has drums and the other symbols. The song starts off very pious and gets raunchier as it goes on suggesting that they've led a rather "interesting" life. |
