I went through it a couple more times, and while I reached the "you are brilliant" screen, I still couldn't figure out what is meant here by "cheating" or "the trick". On the last task, where there are several instructions to remember, I tried just leaving it for a few minutes to see if there was a time limit, but there didn't seem to be.

Were you cheating by opening up the quiz in a second window? I didn't have the patience to do that... quicker just to memorize the instructions.

I did think it was slightly out of character that the last task doesn't say "Press" or "Don't press" the buttons - you have to infer that they want you to click the described sequence.

Yes, in a way they do. The way they do it is rather startling though. I thought something had gone wrong with my computer at first - but it came back - without the instructions of course. Got it the next time though.

Well, the very last task has the most to remember... maybe they put a time limit on that to prevent you "cheating" by writing the instructions down.

Hee hee hee - after a few goes I got to brilliant! Just before you get that far, it plays a very interesting trick on you. Finds out the cheaters. I only got caught once ;-)

I got the the part that said "Press the Green button quick", but wasn't quick enough. It took me three tries to get that far.
