Wish I could have heard your music, Max, but I was out making some of my own. We sounded darn good, too.

Try it again Go to Start, programs, accessories, entertainment, sound recorder, (background music ready or your instrument) push red button, sing and play, go to file, push "save as"then add your attachment to whoever you want to hear your masterpiece. I'd love to hear it. Let me know how this worked. Tucker

It won't play on RealAudio. It requires a $29.99 download of Real Audio Plus G2. May do ahead and bite the bullet. Does anyone already have it? moonchild

It's five after midnight---Saturday morn now.

I tried and it seemed to be downloading something from Real Audio even though I've already got it. I got within a minute and a quarter of finishing getting whatever I was getting and MY DATE CHANGED TO APRIL FIRST (you know, just like in "Groundhog Day") and ASCAP & BMI FLAGS & WHISTLES AND M-50s STARTED EXPLODING AND...

No, not really---at least all is true except that last part. How does it feel, Max??? "YEDDA, YEDDA, WARDEN!!!...

THE TRUTH is that I got a notice that I needed to have the correct date on my computer to get Real Player to work right (or something like that). But I DO have the correct date...

BOTTOM LINE: It didn't work.

Exciting idea!!!!...BUT, got a message that...."this is not a Real Audio document...Error 11". I followed the link to Error 11 and don't understand enough about the lingo for it to help me resolve the problem here. The link was at "http://www.real.com/help/errors"....hope it helps.

Dangola, Max, I guess I need an upgrade too. Ive got real audio plus 5.0, but I get an error message that the file has the wrong extension and can't be read by my RA.

RealAudio has driven me crazy for months now..had it working under 3.0..and tried to upgrade,,*boom*..have re-installed 3 or 4 times and still no go..*shrug*

Hi, Max. Great Idea! It's 5:49 here and I just tried it, buut my realaudio player said the link was either out of date or wrong ;-(?

Hoep you can get it fixed. I'd love to hear ya'll. BTW, my husband , Roger, is a broadcast engineer. he said he's got the addresses for some really good video and audio links for live stuff, if you're interested.

Also, to everyone: he mentioned he's been thinking about bringing the equipment along to MUDSTOCK 99 adn doing some live shots. Of course, he'd have to talke to you, Max and get the okay, plus permission for performers, but nifty idea, huh?

Hi all. Gonna try an experiment tonight. Gonna try to broadcast live through a phone line.

My friends and I get together once in a while and overindulge in jockularity and spirits and get a little musically crazy. Tonight I thought that I would try to record it and broadcast it live. NOw the chances of this succeeding live are slim, but what the hell. Anyhow, if you wanna check it out follow this link between 9pm and 2am EST to listen with Real Audio G2. Otherwise if anything good comes of it I will rebroadcast it another day.

If I realize or wonder if its working, I will be watching the threads and perhaps in the chat room to see how it sounds etc. Later...
