Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: GUEST,Jon Date: 04 Jun 11 - 08:08 AM Seem to have got a bit of a move on today. England 486 all out. |
Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: Big Al Whittle (closed) Date: 03 Jun 11 - 08:23 PM Obviously both sides had a bet on to lose.... (goes off muttering something about a dog's hind leg....) |
Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: Arthur_itus Date: 03 Jun 11 - 02:15 PM Well they must have heard me. |
Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: Arthur_itus Date: 03 Jun 11 - 12:11 PM Why don't we just slog another 200 runs and then get into them. I feel sorry for all the people who have paid good money for such a slow match and wasted time. |
Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: GUEST,Jon Date: 03 Jun 11 - 11:43 AM 201 for 5 now. Cook's just gone. |

Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: Arthur_itus Date: 03 Jun 11 - 07:01 AM Pieterson fails miserably with the bat again. Time he was left out of the test matches. |
Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: Arthur_itus Date: 03 Jun 11 - 06:46 AM Blimey, what the hell has happened. England batting in the 2nd test and are 26 for 3. Sort of after the lord mayors show. |
Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: GUEST,Alan Whittle Date: 31 May 11 - 11:20 PM Strangely reminiscent of that time we thought Ian Botham could perform miracles - then it turned out the Australians had bet on themselves to lose. |
Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: Arthur_itus Date: 31 May 11 - 04:30 PM "And the weather would probably have been worse had it been in Manchester" That's true Mike LOL |
Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: MikeL2 Date: 31 May 11 - 06:45 AM hi Arthur With the weather as it was you would not be able to light up either...lol Like many I had stopped being interested in the game figuring that it would fizzle out into a squelching draw. I saw some highlights on TV and I couldn't believe the ineptness of the Sri-Lankan batting against what has to said was mediocre bowling - but great catching!! Wales in May could be thought to be very ambitious as a venue for cricket due to the prevailing weather. However they got a feak result !!! And the weather would probably have been worse had it been in Manchester. Cheers MikeL2 |

Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: Rapparee Date: 30 May 11 - 03:54 PM So whose matches are better? If I want to light up do I buy English or Sri Lankan matches? Or do I have to test them myself? |
Subject: RE: BS: Test Matches England v Sri Lanka From: GUEST,Jon Date: 30 May 11 - 02:24 PM I didn't check the scores today. Last time I looked I thought it was heading for a draw... |
