Subject: RE: Halifax NS-good places for music From: leeneia Date: 18 Jun 24 - 11:40 PM When travelling in Ireland, I found that the front desk of a hotel was a good place to ask about traditional music. Also the Tourist Information Office. See if it works in Halifax. |

Subject: RE: Halifax NS-good places for music From: meself Date: 16 Jun 24 - 08:19 PM There's a pub in Dartmouth called Celtic Corner that seems often to have fiddle music. You'll need a ride there. Check out who's playing and/or sessions at the Old Triangle right downtown Halifax (Dave MacIsaac and Louis Benoit on Mondays or Tuesdays). That would be my first stop if I were staying downtown. |
