If I go to the forum menu and set the filter for just 14 days and hit "show threads," I get a long, long list of threads that takes a long, long time to display. Maybe you're using that darn Netscape. Throw it away and get a real browser. -Billy- |

After a few seconds of scanning the titles, I often find they all disappear and I'm back at the top, staring at the Show Threads box? Is this in my computer, or is it in Mudcat? --seed |

There's a longer list, now, but that's because the Mudcat has been back on line longer, I guess. Max set the default at one day so it wouldn't take so long to load the threads. Of course, all the threads disappeared since we were down for two days. Max blames it on The Phone Company, and I can't think of a better scapegoat. If you want to see a longer list of threads, set the filter at more days. You can avoid having to reset the filter if you use the "back" icon on your browser (or "backspace" key on your keyboard). Of course, if you post a message, you get a 3-day list of messages and you have to reset the filter if you want more. Nice to be back, isn't it? -Joe Offer- |

Even when I set 3 days in the age box, I still get only a bit more than one page of threads, all of them dated today, although I recognize most of them from before your crash. I'm gonna try 7 days and see if that gets me a couple that I was following over the weekend. --seed |
