I thought I heard the screams of my darling little girl
She cried Daddy there's an awful dreadful snake
I ran as fast as I could through the dark & dreary woods
But I reached my darling to late

I can't recall any more & I'm not sure how close this chorus is to being right. I believe the name of this bluegrass song is "The Dreadful Snake". I'd say there's more to this song than meets the eye. I'm sure someone else will pick up on this. Barry

I've been snooping the forum with nothing to say for a while, but now need help finding the verses to the song below.
