Subject: RE: BS: Mexico to Send Aid to US... From: artbrooks Date: 08 Sep 05 - 08:24 PM Pancho Villa was in rebellion against the Mexican government at the time he invaded Columbus, Texas. The Mexican relief column has been welcomed, and is being escorted by the US Army. More here. |

Subject: RE: BS: Mexico to Send Aid to US... From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 08 Sep 05 - 09:26 AM This will be the first time that the Mexican army has conducted any exercise in the Unites States since backs in the 1840's... What about Pancho Villa? I suppose technically that would have been "a Mexican army" rather than "the Mexican army", but that's splitting hairs. They'd better have checked with the US authorities, who have some funny ways of dealing with people who want to help. It appears that the USA is ignoring/rejecting the offer from Cuba of medical aid. Rather the same way the Russian government refused to accept foreign help with the Kursk submarine disaster, which would well have saved the lives of the poor bloody saubmariners who died. Bastards. |
Subject: RE: BS: Mexico to Send Aid to US... From: Wesley S Date: 08 Sep 05 - 09:14 AM It's rumored that our Gov Rick Perry { aka "The Haircut" } will be there to greet them so he can take a headcount before and after they leave Texas. We're hoping they don't slap electronic bracelets on them in order to keep track of their whereabouts. |
