Subject: RE: Moor & Coast 06? From: GUEST,padgett Date: 12 Dec 05 - 04:14 AM You'll never catch live Kippers! George Moor and Coast might be viewed more favourable this year with the non showing of Holmfirth George Papavgeris is most certainly not to be missed, a singer songwriter and performer who sings from the heart I went to a FF couple of years ago and I swear half the females were in tears listening to one of his songs |

Subject: RE: Moor & Coast 06? From: gnomad Date: 10 Dec 05 - 06:41 AM There may be nowt on the web just yet, but Glen is starting to poster the town with a provisional lineup. Looked good when I glanced at it, I will try and post some highlights when I've had another look. This being the tenth festival he is trying to make it a bit special, and booking a number of the acts which appeared in the early years. He is also trying to re-invite lots of dance teams from past years. |
Subject: RE: Moor & Coast 06? From: LesB Date: 09 Dec 05 - 07:14 PM Thanks Les thats good news. It's just that there is usualy some publicity around by now, (not even the date on the website), and with the increased cost to Whitby Folk week of the Communitee College, resulting in it's unavailiability for camping. I just wondered. Cheers Les |
Subject: RE: Moor & Coast 06? From: Rasener Date: 09 Dec 05 - 05:37 PM Les Why wouldn't it be on. I know Dan Mckinnon has it booked. I hope people will be less critical next year.
