this sounds like a wonderful event. Even though I just returned from the UK I am dying to go back in the fall and this might be as good a reason as any...any room for a cappella singers who specialize in those sad, forlorn, Gaelic tales of lost love and premature death by drowning?

Can we come, please? We live not far from Shrewsbury and might be able to offer a bit of accommodation if needed.

Trevor, you are the closest, geographically, so far!!!! You are very welcome to come, as is anyone who is interested. Where are you, Bishop's castle? Have you got a folk session there? I should be able to drop by if there is one. Hwyl, Bron.

Hello, Yes, not far from BC (I guess my entry on the 'Guest Beer string is a bit of a giveaway!). I go to the sessions at The Miners Arms, Priestweston, on the first Wednesday of the month, The Cock at Brockton on the third Wednesday of the month and The Six Bells in BC on Friday every three weeks (although that has just started a summer recess). There are also sessions this Saturday in Church Stretton - afternoon in The Kings Arms and evening at The Green Dragon. See you?

Just possibly might, Trevor. What kind of sessions are they. Is Jim's amp likely to send anyone into an attack of the vapours? He plays bass, and some people don't like it. Hwyl, Bron.

Sorry I missed you on Saturday Bron - I was singing in Malvern in the afternoon but turned up for the evening sesh to hear that you'd visited. It wasn't quite what I was expecting at The Green Dragon but fun nevertheless. Taff says we might see you at The Miners Arms, Aug 2nd. Thanks for making the effort!

Yes, Trevor, we're hoping to get to Priest Weston for the next session. We enjoyed our afternoon out, though Church Stretton was very quiet. See you soon. Hwyl, Bron.

Start the new thread, Llanfair, otherwise there'll be stuff on this that needs reading and won't get read because it's too long already.

Llanstock 111-put me down for it Bron, My son might be in a production that week, and so the car might be needed, but I'll try-I'll ask Skipjack if he's busy-we can make some noise. What about Bill, sam, Emma, Patrish etc? Will you put up a Lstk 3 thread?

Cheers.Eric-ps-Start your arrangments for Holland next year!!!

As all three Pubs here now are not folk friendly, I am not planning a Llanstock this year. I am, however, looking into the possibility of booking the youth hostel at Borth for a weekend.
I'll keep you posted.
Cheers, Bron.
