I just thought i would stick in a thread as i advertised the chicago university folk festival but i thought i would make it plain that i am over here atm. Im wondering around Chicago on my own but having a great time. if anybody is around and wants to share a coffee or something let me know.

Must be perishin' with the wind blowing over that big pond! Was in the windy city myself some years back and found it a lovely place. I would join you at the drop of a hat but stuck in Leeds, which is just as cold but without the lake, pier or Marshall Field's. Why the later? Well, if all department stores had a bar in the basement shopping would be a lot more fun for us blokes...:-)
