Looks like this Baron Dobronyi guy (the undies are from his 'collection') was a perv. Lots of primitive phallic artwork for sale, orgy depictions and the like. The ad for these says they were acquired during the Queen's visit to Chile in 1968. Wouldn't be surprised if Dobronyi paid some peon to steal the things.

I especially like the part of the posting that says, "This vintage garment is in good condition with a few stains and yellowing due to it's age. Inspection and appraisal by a qualified professional is highly recommended." lol. Yellowing. I bet the Windsors buy these at any cost, just to keep anyone from getting a sample of the royal DNA.

Looking up the baron on wikipedia - it turns out he was a dab hand at getting ladies to disrobe. Brigitte Bardot and Anita Ekberg both dropped their drawers for the baron, and he made gold statuettes of the ladies in the nud. I wonder if somewhere , theres a gold statue of Queen Elizabeth, flaunting her bits and pieces.

Ah yes - well that's it you see. Kendall you've grown up in an egalitarian society. In England, it was different. We knew Prince Charles an Princess Anne had better toys, better clothes, got into the best University with brains and qualifications that would just about qualify for a job at the local supermarket.

They had better holidays than us. Easier work. lived in nicer houses. got free tickets for all the shows, met all the people we would have liked to meet.

And if they visited a planetarium - it was suggested that they could have been astronomers, or poets, or philosophers, their stupid books got published, their brain dead opinions got publicised and held up to us as a shining example.

Inshort they were held up as people we should admire.

Wellsome of us don't admire them. And if she's been having a scene with Baron von Wotsit and leaving her knickers at his place - we'd like to know.

This was the period when she was buggering up the relationship her sister had with Group Catain Peter Townsend. A guy who went out and fought for this country.

I think the vast majority of Brits can seperate a joke, or daft story, about the royal family from a slight on the country itself.

I've been thinking. On reflection, I hope they were the Queen's panties. I hope she had a bit of a scene with the Baron - a bit of fun. Would't we all prefer to be involved with a woman who has lost her knickers in suspicious circumstances once or twice?

The Fashion Museum at Kent State University in Ohio at one point had a pair of Queen Victoria's knickers on display. I believe they were part of the permanent collection - and I'm sure she would NOT have been amused, either!
