May not be the chords... but it certainly tells the story.
My Dad was a police officer in Clydebank during the late '50's and all through the '60's..... he had a soft spot for Gentleman Johnny. So much so we had the '45 rpm single with The Ballad of Johnny Ramensky on it! Can't remember who the artist was, but I knew every word, and use the song and his story in my set here in the States... a great story that always goes down well!

thank u i could not rember his name looking for the latest book for a friend in NEW ZEALAND he was a boy when this gentleman as he was known to the glasgow police he never was a violent man but he was brilliant ,thanks again to gain entry to nazi head/q was some feat ANNE FORSYTH ANNE
