Having has my first at just a month past my 17th b-day, I can say, now, I am glad I had my kids early, as I'd not like to be a full-time parent, now!:-) My grandson keeps me busy enough to know that. As to enjying life....well, maybe I was a bit selfish, but I did a lot of enjoying when my kids were young, some it probably a bit "wild oats sowing" but we're none the worse for it.:-) The only thing I compare, today, is my friends in their 50's and 60's who still have children in school and me in my 50's, ready for when Rog can retire, to roam the country and have a blast visiting Mudcatters, searching up ancestors' gravesites and such, and writing more of my adventures, etc. luvyakat All the best, kat |
