Subject: RE: BS: Internet Freedom Under Fire From: JohnInKansas Date: 26 Oct 07 - 10:51 PM Peace - Buy a Congressperson? Or a party? A lot of people are putting a lot of effort into this, on both sides. There is some some evidence of interest on the part of the regulating bodies in actually hearing both sides of it, maybe; but it may come down to who gets the last word in the right ear(s). Don't forget to stop by your local video rental outlet and point out that they're OUT OF BUSINESS if everybody can download direct to their set. (Of course they should know that by now.) A word to Walmart about what low-cost downloads will do to DVD sales might even be in order, if you've got the stomach for talking to them and can get anyone other than the door greeter to listen.
