Subject: RE: The Great Tune Hunt Permathread From: GUEST,Sadie Damascus Date: 09 Jul 15 - 01:16 AM Well, I know a lot of the songs on that 2003 list. Are we bemoaning the fact that we don't have the tunes written down? Or that nobody can sing them? As my radio ballad project has developed, I have found many ballad tunes, especially. What shape is the lkist in now, where can I see it, and what can I do to help? |
Subject: RE: The Great Tune Hunt Permathread From: GUEST,Sadie Damascus Date: 09 Jul 15 - 01:19 AM Can we send links to online reciordings? |
Subject: RE: The Great Tune Hunt Permathread From: wendyg Date: 18 Jan 19 - 02:25 PM The song on that list called "Savior to the Poor" is *actually* titled "Song for Just After Christmas", and the tune and the MP3 of the writer, Bill Steele, singing it is on his website at www.billsteelesongs.com. It's on the "Chocolate Chip Cookies" album. wg |
