The Morse clan gathered for Kendall's birthday. There were a lot of stories and laughs. Some tears. Meghan is hanging on supported by her family. She is loved and cherished by so many but especially her grandfather who adores her. Time will heal; meantime tears and support.
Note to Morse clan - Jonathan looks the best I have ever seen him. He looks great and seems genuinely happy.

Meghan was beautifully dressed and "made up". She had taken the time to make devilled eggs for her grandfather. She is quite remarkable - not surprising really. She is a remarkable young woman. Smart, beautiful, resilient, strong - she is quite remarkable and was long before this this tragedy. Nothing about her is ordinary. And again I think of dignified when I see her now.

No drama; no theatrics; genuine grief and resilence.

Becca has asked me to change the thread title. It has been confirmed they have found Ezra. Not the outcome we'd all hoped and prayed for, but at least they will not be left to wonder any more. Please continue in your support of his families as they face this final ordeal. May their god/s be good to them and bless them with strength, love, good memories, and the ability to see beyond such terrible grief.

Oh dear. At a time like this there isn't much to say. I'm glad there's closure, but this sure wasn't the way anybody wanted it to end. I hope and pray that Meghan is able to move on, though it won't be easy. If nothing else, all of you know that you are not alone.
