Subject: Joe Offer in Ashwell (Herts.) From: IanC Date: 23 Aug 02 - 11:15 AM If someone's lost - or even mislaid - Joe in Whitby, I think it was very careless (and inconsiderate) of them. This is just to say that Joe will be staying with me in Ashwell for a few days before going back to London and thence home. I think we might be going for a quiet drink to The Bushel and Strike on the evening of Tuesday 27th (should be there from 8:30 pm). As this is the pub where we have our regular sessions, it seems quite likely that a certain amount of music and singing could ensue. Anyone nearby (i.e. Herts/Beds/Cambs ... even London) who would like to join us will be welcome. The "Bushel" is directly opposite the church (which can itself be seen wherever you are in the village). If it's nice, we'll be in the garden. Just turn up if you're coming (PM me if you need any details etc.)
Cheers! |
