Off to Manchester today to meet up with ME
Are you schizophrenic? Or why do you need to go to Manchester to meet yourself? ;-) SCNR

I hope you and Matthew will survive Paris.

cu soon,
MudGuard

Oh, this is probably going to seem a strange request, is there a good fishing tackle shop? And of course a music shop?-in case I break too many strings

Not long now, 48hours and we should be on our way!!

Eric, I've told you before you can't use fishing line to replace your guitar strings

What the feck do you want a Brussels fishing tackle shop for? Are you going to compliacte the already bizarre ephemera that surronds our sleeping arrangements? Is it your rubber boot fetish? Bloody Norwegians.

The rangements are simple. We'll have a dish of caffeine chez ETV, and decide what the hell we're gonna do. Just have directions to all possible venues, and we'll chill!

Skipjack.

ps Seen Linda rioting on the TV!

Dear Eric,

Notwithstanding complicating your arrangements with Skip (I ask no embarassing questions on such matters!), I'm sure I can help you on both matters!

See you soon! (First early-bird arrivals here tomorrow!)

Best regards

Richard

At the moment I am kind of disabled: no mail access. That means all the information I had not immediately printed out is inaccessible. That means I not only have no access to the hotel's confirmation of my accomodation and their description of the route, I don't even know its name. Nice problem, I'll be solving it tomorrow, I hope. If you see this, Richard, I booked at the accomodation you PMed me about weeks ago, but I also cannot read PMs right now (not Mudcat's fault).

But I'll be in Brussels tomorrow (Friday) evening at about 9 p.m. and I'll try to find the restaurant. Rough guess: I'll be a late comer at about half past ten. If I don't see you there, I'll have a look for Mooland.

Wolfgang

Oh you lucky people, to have started the weekend off so early (envy, envy, envy!!!)

Thanks Richard. Bill, the fishing line is to convert to nylon strings should I so desire (that's my excuse) Skip-later dear boy, later!!! (That's my excuse) We should be drinking coffeee at EtV just about now or a bit earler in less than 24 hours.

I only hope the instruments get through without damage on the plane, especially my guitar.

I truly look forward to seeing all of you and friends I've met at other gatherings, and having a really good time (though if my guitar gets broke-I'll cry)

Erik, insist that it will go on board with you, not in the luggage hold!
And don't damage the plane with the guitar ;-)
cu soon,
MudGuard/Andreas

Eric, I've got directions for the Red Lion, Whittlesford. Mudcatter Freereeder, and Mrs Freereeder, and Free4reeder (who plays a fiddle beeeutifully) will be joining us. They're local types.

Dear Wolfgang,

I checked with the Auberge du Souverain (1 Avenue de la Fauconnerie, 1170, Brussels) and they confirmed that everything is OK as you had arranged with them.

We'll probably be at "Le Skievelat" at the time you arrive. This is situated at Place Keym. The esiest way to get there is to jump on a 41 bus (direction Calevoet) almost outside the Auberge which will deposit you about 50 metres from the Skievelat.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Best regards,

mooman

Thanks, that's a big help. I knew 'Auberge' but didn't know the rest. I picture the face of a person from Brussels when I ask for my accomodation and say I remember the name starts with 'Auberge'.

Still working

Wolfgang

Can't remember if you were taking a day off from mudcatting to do a bit of work yesterday or not, Mooman, but I sent you an e-mail there to let you know that Bean Pluiméara and myself will be at the restaurant this evening.

What time should we forgather/seventeegather or whatever verb is appropriate?
