Seeing as Cheddar Gorge has started so well, and we haven't done this for a while, I thought a game of Mornington Crescent may go down well. Not wanting anyone to interrupt the flow of play, and realising not everyone is familiar with the game, this page will help you find your feet.

Rules in force for this game: Stick to the official game layout so well all know where we are. Diagonals are allowed but not if they incur repetition. Fouls will not be tolerated. We'll play the Piccadilly Line as east-west only to make it easier for beginners, and we'll stick to the Uxbridge Amendments of 1867.

I'll get us started with an easy one:

Fulham Broadway

Sorry Bill the Collie but that is not allowed. See dogs (other than Guide Dogs) ruling of 1973 enabled under the Battersea Homing Instinct edict.

Do the Uxbridge Amendments of 1867 allow inclusion of the Docklands Light Railway, or only the Metropolitan Line, which of course then would include Paris - so - Pyramides.

Seeing as Queensway is closing for 12 months and the Piccadilly Line as east-west only and diagonals aren't allowed if they incur repetition it looks like EDGEWARE ROAD under Huygens rules.

By the Waterston-Blakely-Goodenough stipulation, permitting noncontiguous translations whenever Basling's rule is not invoked...Park Street Under. (On the Red Line, no less!)

Aloha,
Mark

(And I don't want to hear any of that "You bloody Yanks always cheat" claptrap. This was fair and square.)

Lundy Where do you think the Jubilee line extention went?

BTW, Edinburgh Waverly was a foul. We had it shut for a few days as there was someone threatening to jump from the bridge above it. The Painting the Forth bridge manovure makes it legal with a diversion via Inverness though...
