Subject: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: GUEST,Sir Roger at work Date: 19 Mar 04 - 03:33 AM The Dean and I will be playing at the Sun Inn, Beverley on Sunday 4th of April. This will be on the same day as the "First Sunday of the month" session at the Monk's Walk just across the road so we expect to see lots of played out folkies turn up around 9pm to watch us strut our stuff. Those that have seen us play separately and together will know that we both have a very wide range of styles in our repertoire so expect to hear material from Trad to Travis, Buddy Holly to Joe Jackson, Bluegrass to Busted, Oakley to Oasis etc etc R |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: el ted Date: 19 Mar 04 - 04:13 AM Wow! This sounds like the Beverley version of Blind Faith, there are supergroups forming all over at the moment, what with this pairing and jenny joining the harri watts band, it's all too much! |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Linda Kelly Date: 19 Mar 04 - 04:54 AM I am sure Hazel and I could turn up and make a loud noise in the background. |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: The DeanMeister Date: 19 Mar 04 - 09:00 AM Sounds like a party to me! Can I come? |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Oaklet Date: 19 Mar 04 - 09:11 AM Congratulations. On behalf of the Hull9 membership, I'd like to wish you both happiness for many years to come. Are you having a hand-wringing party like they do in Selby? |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: GUEST,ivor bigginin Date: 19 Mar 04 - 09:28 AM Is this the same Dean who used to play with that dreadfull band punch the horse? They are nearly as boring and unimaganitive as that other fraud fron hull, john the oaf. |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: The DeanMeister Date: 19 Mar 04 - 10:02 AM I'm sorry, but it's not necessary to refer to friends of ours as boring and unimaginative, Ivor. Can we start again in a more friendly fashion? Hope so. Pete. |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: GUEST,The real ivor bigginin Date: 19 Mar 04 - 10:25 AM I am sorry Mr.Dean, there is an imposter out there trading under my name.I hope my comments, although a little pithy, are never directly insulting to people. Frauds such as this rank outsider are as unimaganitive and boring as the people I am fond of exposing. |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Oaklet Date: 19 Mar 04 - 10:33 AM That's better. In case this mix-up happens again, remember that ivor's imposter tends not to put a space after his sentences. |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Oaklet Date: 19 Mar 04 - 08:24 PM In another thread, a wise man wrote: "So many guests here, showing such concern. What guest fun I had until I was shown how easily traceable my true ID is". Maybe the small handful of users of comedy guest handles will become as bored of this as they are boring. True; I could have logged-off and written Hugh Janus, Hugh Jampton, Ivor Biggin, Dick Head or something else rib-ticklingly hilarious in the "from" box, but I really couldn't be arsed. I am told that the adoption of an amusing nom-de-plume on internet forums becomes less interesting after the onset of puberty. I live in hope. |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Sir Roger de Beverley Date: 20 Mar 04 - 08:17 AM Anyone got a photo of Pete and I playing in the same room? If so, I'd like to use it in the posters for this gig. R |

Come on you sad bastards, give us all a break from this purile crap and start using telephones. If your music playing is as good as these posts you must pay the pub owners to let you play there. The Sun Inn will definately be on my list of places not to visit. |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Sir Roger de Beverley Date: 23 Mar 04 - 10:42 AM Of course Ivor is right- this is self promotion. However, when two mudcat members get together to perform a free acoustic gig it is reasonable to suppose that it might be of interest to other Mudcatters and their friends. It is also reasonable, when a local licensee pays to put on said free gig, to give it all the publicity we can in the hope of filling his pub and encouraging him to do similar things in the future. Also, every time Ivor posts to this thread it goes back up to the top of the list - lets hear from you again my friend. :-)) |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: The DeanMeister Date: 23 Mar 04 - 10:46 AM right, you tossers! i've had enough of this crap.its a bout time you lot got alife and stopped being so pathetec. |

Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: GUEST,Astonished Date: 23 Mar 04 - 10:59 AM Anyone got the balls to own up to being ivor bigginin, and give a reason for the trade in insults, or are you going to keep hidden and continue insulting your "friends" and being a phony bast**d. |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: The DeanMeister Date: 23 Mar 04 - 11:03 AM He's gone now. Ssshhhh. |
Subject: RE: Sir Roger and The Deanmeister pair up From: Oaklet Date: 23 Mar 04 - 11:08 AM The deleted thread "Oaklet is not Ivor Biggun" contained an explanation and apology from Ossonflags. He suspects that he forgot to log-off at his work computer and his details were accessed by someone with time on his hands and little in his head. Mick has promised an enquiry tomorrow and expressed his regret. The opening post in the thread was vile and reptilian. I asked it to be deleted. Thanks for removing it with such speed, elves. |
