Well it was my first time there so I can't comment on weather or not it was a good one ....... but I definately enjoyed it.
The only conplaint is that the "cat" was passed the wrong way round the room (or was I just sitting in the wrong place?)

Great job by Malc and Gill and all the rest. We had a great time, but somebody shoot me if I say I'm indoor camping again. I'm too old to make do with 3 hours sleep!

We enjoyed all our sets; audience for our interval set at the Ceilidh were brilliant.

Seemed to be generally more people around, or was it just that without the Swan and Connie club they weren't spread around so many venues?

Oh yes, and Hils was brill yesterday at the Arts Centre yesterday.

It was and always is a pleasure to sing with you and Christine(Moses and the Ref) and having seen a very small part of what goes on behind the scenes I am full of admiration for Malc Jill and the team. from a performers point of view it all went like clockwork despite all the spanners thrown in! and yes Hill (mgas) was brill

Yes, Tri were my favourite as well. Once again, a very enjoyable festival. A big THANK YOU to Malc and Gill and their team of volunteers and all the performers. And just to prove that the sun can shine in Bedworth in November, I took some photos on Sunday morning - of the church opposite the Civic Hall just because I liked the colour of the sunshine on the stone walls; the Civic Hall to remind us of where there were several excellent concerts on Saturday; several of Sue's Morris dancing workshop in the Black Bank car park and in the afternoon - one photo of the Christmas lights near the Civic Hall.

Gosh,Alice,you even managed to get me in some of your pics !! When I got to the Black Bank on Sunday,I was wearing a short-sleeved shirt,and donned one of Sue's tatter jackets,but by the end of "Upton",I was so cold that I reverted to leather jacket and cloth cap, so that's me playing my harmonica and "improperly dressed" ! But it was a good turn-out,though, and the Brose caravan park was OK, if a bit far away from things !( Mini-bus & driver needed for next year,Malc !). And the "clash" between Mudgatherers and Other Musicians in the pub was rather unfortunate----perhaps another bar,or even another pub,would be better ?

That's where we missed the White Swan unfortunately. On the good side though the fewer venues meant audiences were bigger.

Another lovely festival. Many thanks to Malc, Gill and all those who organised, stewarded, etc.

Had a great time despite the lack of sleep on Friday night.

Really enjoyed our (Moses & the Ref) harmonising with Les on a couple of his songs.

Hils set on Sunday was brill. She just gets better.

What a fantastic weekend, thanks so much to Malc, Gill, Claire and all the team of volunteers and stewards for producing another great Bedworth! Lots of my very favourite performers on the programme & I got a few songs in too *grin* (many thanks for your kind words you lovely folks, cheques in post)

Wonderful to see and hear so many Catters at the MudGather, I'm just so sorry that the Cat took so long to get around the room, which meant that several Catters left before we could hear them. I usually announce that people should let me know if they need to go early so that I can try to fit everyone in, but I must have forgotten, I am sorry!

One of the highpoints for me was that Abuwood set up her phone so that Treaties1 could listen in, we were so glad that Theresa could join us. Thanks Alison!!

The MudRaffle raised an amazing total of £104, which I'll be transferring to the 'Friends of MudCat UK' account which helps to pay the bills. Thanks to everyone who brought prizes, and for buying tickets and extra tickets too!

Super Winter break. Would recommend to all folk music followers - wide range of music,most tastes seemed to be catered for.Organisation with an easy hand. So glad to see musicians session with young players. Lots of familiar faces is always a sure sign of a good weekend. Well that's another festival under our belts and I think I say with confidence that it was yet another success. Malc and I were very busy over the weekend but still managed to enjoy ourselves - Well I did and I hope Malc did especially during the Rock 'n' Roll interlude on Friday evening, which he took part in and seemed to go down very well. I would like to personally thank those of you who were guest acts for your contribution to the weekend and also those of you who were stewards. Your help in making the festival safe for everyone was very much appreciated. Thank you everyone! I promise I will do something about the way the Rota is sent out for next year!!! The greatest thanks have to go to those who actually bought tickets, without you we would not have a festival - we are looking forward to welcoming you next year so don't forget to book early!! It just remains for me to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and Happy 2010. Look forward to seeing you on the circuit of festivals next year.

Tri enjoyed playing at Bedworth, despite Neal being ill: he had a throat op the next week.

It is nice to play in venues where you can see the whites of the audiences eyes and it feels more like an expanded friendly folk club. In some ways much more preferable than being on high distant stages.

To those who enjoyed the sets, we hope to see you next year around the circuit next year.

To answer a question above, they rehearse monthly and we are very familiar with the M50mph (M6 North).
