She's a brilliant young lady who I know from college and she is a guitarist (12 string).

Well, as Firecat said, i play a 12 string guitar and play songs like 'streets of london' and 'house of the risin sun' etc. So if U know of any really good songs then tell me about them.

The only song I learnt from my dad was 'when this lousy war is over' - tune is What a friend we have in Jesus. Obviously your dad was a) more musical than mine, and b) probably a fair bit younger than mine was! (Don't mention the war!!)

I would extend a similar welcome to you Kc and say have fun, there is a lot of P*** taking goes on, but it is THE place for finding that tune/song you heard someone sing/play at a party 3 years ago that comes back to haunt you every now ans then, Just put up what you can remembe, in the title of a thread,, I had somthing I was looking for for 11 years answered in 48 hours on here.

Welcome, KC! Or Kc or however you spell it. This is a great place with a bunch of really knowledgeable people, and most of us are really friendly. Don't bend over near Spaw, though, and keep him downwind of yourself.

I'm the Mousethief. I go around trying to help people be civil to each other, which really gets on some people's nerves. Bwahahahaha. What they don't realize is that all this civility stuff I preach is really a FRONT that allows me to be as irritating as I like in the name of pleasantness.

Actually, come to think of it, they probably already know that.

Welcome, we need some new blood to counterbalance all the old farts like me ( my "jokes" are even older). If you like music, food and humour this is the right place. I would suggest you avoid the political and religious threads unless you have a high tolerance threshold as some posters tend to turn their thongs into macrame over opinions they disagree with.
