I posted this thread the day before I went away on a two week holiday.

I've been a member here now for about six months and I'd assumed that it had slipped away into oblivion.

I didn't expect to be referrd to it six months later by an innocent comment about lox and bagels.

I didn't even know that lox and bagels had anything in common.

I've heard about a delayed reaction but 6 months is a bit much, even for me! Welcome anyway, Lox, but my Victorian Household Management book tells me it is impolite to use "Pleased to meet you" and to use "How do you do" instead!

You will have noticed by now, of course, that we are all very polite, good mannered and completely sensible here...;-)
