Subject: RE: BS: World has ended - unconfirmed at moment. From: Teresa Date: 17 Feb 05 - 05:27 PM To get a good idea of what it might be like, read the fine novelization of Asimov's Nightfall I think Ben bova and Robert Silverberg. From: gnu Date: 17 Feb 05 - 05:40 PM If you've ever been to the abyss, the end of the earth, on Grand Manan Island off the coast of New Brunswick, you wouldn't worry about the end of the earth because you could just avoid falling off. The Flat Earth Society of New brunswick takes it's members there every summer so they know where to not dare tread. It's fun and educational. Oh! You mean the whole world. Sorry. |
