Very well attended, the place was heaving. Good venue at the Friendship club and very well organised. Looks like it's going to be another record breaker in terms of money raised for the Runswick Bay Rescue Boat and that's great news. Special thanks to Raggytash and Wombat for all their hard work in organising this do. The brilliant turn out and special atmosphere shows just how popular this event has become. The amount raised was staggering. Any of you who missed out (for whatever reason) who wish to increase it still further can contact Raggytash who will be pleased to empty your pockets. Remember - this is one of the boats that is NOT supported by the RNLI but is kept going because the locals recognised the need. It saved at least 4 lives last year. |

The music and singing was brilliant, as was the whole atmosphere of the night, a great venue too Wombat and I took the money up to the Royal Hotal in Runswick yesterday evening and passed it to Mike Sewell, the coxswain of the Rescue Boat.
