I bet you used to think I was really ignorant and never telephoned you-but now I have an excuse! Modern technology being somewhat beyond me I have managed to delete all the telephone numbers in my mobile If you think your number was in there, or if you think I should have it then can you pm me with your number. Sorry Im blaming arthritis and an over sensitive key pad!

this is expecially difficult as only land line numbers can be looked up in directory assistance services or in phone books...good luck.

After a couple of crashes, and a power loss wipe out, I have become paranoid about this happening to me again.
I now use an HP PDA/Phone which uses MS Outlook, so I can type all the details into my PC, transfer it to my PDA, I also keep a print out in a desk drawer.
Cautious moi?
Do you have a blue tooth phone Linda? Perhaps you can set up something via your PC using that, then you'd have back up.

Wouldn't your recent phone billing hisory contain some info? You might have to special-request it as a detail, but maybe your hardcopy bills already hold some of the numbers-- the recent calls anyway.

Once you find 'em all you might be interested in a little device I saw in a little shop selling mail order returned goods - it claimed to be a backup device for mobiles. Sounded like a good idea and cost <£5 if I remember aright.

Good to see Sir John back in circulation, and evidently still on good form.

I have a handy little device for backing up my phone numbers. It's called a 'paper and pen', and it only goes wrong temporarily when I need to get a new pen or another piece of paper.

Last time I lost all the phone numbers in my mobile phone - was when I lost the phone.

I keep it on a piece of chord now - round my neck - but only if I need it like at festivals.

As any computer geek will tell you - wbere's the back-up disk? Or in this case the piece of paper.

I been away for a while, I come back and i think you all gone bloody crazy!
I see a thrad about myspace, and people asking for frends, waht they want loads of frends for then? stupid!!!

1 or 2 is enough, i see on that site, some people got hundreds!
imagine sending xmas cards to all that lot, cost a fortune, and take ages to write out.

Anyway=I'm going to hibernate in winter, tortoises do it, and they live to be about 100 years old.
I will sleep in a box in the shed.
