Subject: Lyr Req: 'You know who I am' Paul Robeson From: Donuel Date: 18 May 07 - 11:09 PM In this case I may not even have the title right. I heard it on an LP sung by Paul Robeson 46 years ago. The last time he asks the question 'you know who I am' The chorus sings "A mer ica". I was thinking this song could use an update. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: 'You know who I am' Paul Robeson From: Franz S. Date: 20 May 07 - 07:29 PM It's not just one song. It's a kind of oratorio, runs about 15-20 minutes and covers a lot of American history from a working class point of view. |
