Thanks, Sandra, sounds great! I heard Danny do a radio spot before with a classical orchestra interspersing classical arrangements of folk songs with the original. Danny's renditions were definitive versions, he did the folk world proud, in fact pretty much stole the show.

John Warner is very proud that he included Newell Highway, & everyone who went said it was a fantastic evening.

I'm looking forward to hearing the concert next Tuesday.

by-the-by, Richard Tognetti is the current custodian of a $3million violin that was referred to here (Mudcat) a few months ago when a zealous Australian Customs officer said the ACO would have to de-string their violins before travelling on a plane! And, as the strings were a well-known terrorist weapon they would have to get posted to their destination!!!

Fortunately sense prevailed & the $3 million violin, & the $1million violin in the custody of the second violinist, & the lesser stringed instruments were allowed on the plane intact.

I wonder what Customs thought of Danny's squeezy box?
