Fun stuff!

I watched most (not all) of the episodes through the seventh doctor (played by Sylvester McCoy), and I saw the made-for-TV movie, which I suppose was the eighth doctor. Since then I have lost track. What I want to know (based on the first of The Villan's links) is, how did the current Doctor get ahold of K9? I thought K9 left with Romana during the time of the fourth Doctor.

And having just re-read this, I suppose I really need to get a life!

Don

I took theme to mean plot, which I happen to have a most modest example...

Along the lines of the movie Falling Down starring Michael Douglas, Dr. Who slowly discovers that he is in fact the bad guy. Having overlooked the temporal and chemical pollution that the Tardis has been increasingly spewing throughout the universe it is discovered that the Daliks were actually a program to limit the awful Tardis pollution but went askew when the Dr. forced them into a defense mode.

The regenerative amnesiac Dr. realizes that he is both an unemployed loose cannon of a long since past temporal research program AND that he is divorced from one of the most respected life form in the universe, only to find that a time cop is hot on his trail to enforce child support that is in arrears for 2,200 years.

The battle between the Dr. and cop resoves itself in a 3part thriller by cleaverly manipulating election results of an obscure Texas govenor in the 20th century.

We've been thoroughly enjoying this season with David Tennant. I LOVE his eyebrow raising! I don't know whether they are writing Freema Agyeman out but I really liked her acting and her character, too. We just had the season finale, so we're having withdrawal pangs right now.:-)

Who was your favorite Doctor. Is Tom Baker a clearly majority choice or was that just among my circle of Whovians.

And for those who prefer Delia Derbyshire's original masterpiece.

Did anyone see David Tennant starring as the young Casanova (Peter O'toole played him as a reminiscing old man) on a movie that was broadcast on PBS. I thought he better captured the image of the character than did Heath Ledger in the Hollywood movie.

THAT was Tennant?! I didn't know him back then, but do remember seeing the show. That cooking show was great!

Clueless Don, the Tenth Doctor met up with both Sarah Jane Smith and K9 in the Series Two episode "School Reunion".

And Freema will be back part way through Series Four.

As to my favourite Doctor, it's got to be David Tennant, who's just to say knocked Sylvester McCoy (my first Doctor) into second place.

Dave's Wife, the person who played the Doctor before David Tennant was Christopher Eccleston, who also plays Claude in Heroes.

Yes, I am a major Whovian!! I get the magazine and everything!
