Subject: RE: BS: Redwall From: Mrrzy Date: 04 Nov 07 - 04:10 PM Well, that didn't work. Put in Redwall and you'll see lots in the Forum, nothing (yet) in the Trad... |
Subject: RE: BS: Redwall From: Waddon Pete Date: 05 Nov 07 - 11:05 AM Mrrzy, The Redwall books are well worth reading, if only for the delightful "mole speak"....deeper'n'ever turnip and tater pie anyone? Best wishes, Peter |
Subject: RE: BS: Redwall From: Desdemona Date: 05 Nov 07 - 11:32 AM My boys and I *love* the Redwall series, and especially the moles...I had an excellent laugh on a visit to Dorset a few years back when my youngest commented that a man in the pub "had their accent!" ~D |
Subject: RE: BS: Redwall From: sapper82 Date: 05 Nov 07 - 12:27 PM Daughter & 12yo son really love those books, even though it's a couple of years back since they read them all! |
Subject: RE: BS: Redwall From: GUEST,Seiri Omaar Date: 05 Nov 07 - 12:45 PM I still have a huge collection of early Redwall books. Some of the poetry that is in those books is really quite good. Brian Jacques is one of the best children's writers in my opinion. There was also an animated series done- saw some of it, but nothing can live up to those books. |
