And we had a great meal chez nous on Sunday -- a small family dinner turned into 11 people (as can happen!!) but Kendall sat next to me so he could ignore the mob scene and just talk to me........!

As for Kendall - I just sent him home with his tummy full of lobster and chocolates and a warm glow in his heart. Tami and Jason soon followed. We all miss Jacqui but lobster and steak and a healthy dose of wine and champagne took some of the sting out of it.
Seamus is spending the night and looking forward to a romp on the beach with Bandit and Joey in the AM. It was like an ever flowing sea of yellow dogs tonight. They got to share in the feast too. Very partial to Jason's Macaroni Salad.

And apologies to Bente who happened to call as the lobster platter hit Ground Zero. All she got was a shout of Merry Christmas and a dial tone.

I caught hell at the Christmas Tree Store buying Micca's mug. The lady at the checkout was embarrassed and the old bat behind me was horrified/disgusted/shocked. A ridiculous pair - the mug is just a healthy bar wench fully clothed but amply endowed.

Perzactly, SINS. Now, I've only been housebound since Dec 14, and I've been kinda grumpy a wee tiny bit once or twice, so I can nearly commisserate a half a tad. But, even so, I know, it ain't that. Like you said, when Jac is back, the Cappy will be happy. Until then, I figure I will just keep tryin to cheer him up with inane posts to this thread, no matter how much it bugs him. I do it because I care. And, I know he can't come up here and kick my ass... yet.

+6 at 5AM! The 100mm in ice in the driveway is gone and the snow on the lawn has dropped a foot (I am bisystem; I do Metriculation and Impervious). The ravens are raven, the squirrels are goin nuts, the Bluejays are, ah, er...

On a more serious note, today I was finally able to get over my concern about working in the garage alone. My Doctor told me it was ok as long as I don't do anything strenuous and carry a cell phone everywhere I go.He was probably trying to ease my concern, but it sure as hell didn't translate that way!
