Tonight on Jeopardy (no tomatoes, folks. I admit to being a fan) they had an anagrams category where this was the clue:

That was the answer. The question was "Who is _____________________?"

Now, the first thing that struck me was how totally unfitting that anagram was for Mr. Zimmerman.   So I wondered if you folks can think of any other anagrams that turn out totally strange or inappropriate for the person(s) or thing(s) whose names are scrambled.

I can't claim credit for this because I wasn't the one who thought it up (was it a Southern Rag / Folk Roots reviewer?) but back in the 80s the group Strawhead were honourably dubbed Wardeaths.
