Subject: RE: Mudcat Move Update From: Joe Offer Date: 02 May 08 - 04:52 PM Looks like we had a little blip last night. I checked last last night and couldn't get on. The Forum Menu shows no traffic from about midnight until 8:30 AM today, Mudcat Daylight Time. When I discovered Mudcat was down, it was lamost 3 AM Max's, time, and I didn't know if I should send a text message that late. Looks like he got it going bright and early this morning, though. -Joe- |

Subject: RE: Mudcat Move Update From: M.Ted Date: 02 May 08 - 03:13 PM So you moved up to Downingtown--you wanted to be a closer to the outlet malls and shooting distance from Dutch Wonderland:-) Years ago, I was driving out route 30, and in one of the strip malls, I saw a big sign that said "Blues Outlet"--I couldn't believe it! With traffic and weird entrances and all, It took about fifteen minutes to get in, and then the big disappointment--it turned out to be a clothing store! I felt kind of stupid, but I did end up buying a "Robert Johnson T-shirt", a new belt, and a golf umbrella that was only four dollars. |
Subject: RE: Mudcat Move Update From: Bill D Date: 02 May 08 - 09:00 AM When HearMe went pay a few years ago, I actually talked to one of their reps. He seemed disinterested in the problems of those who couldn't afford the new rates, even though they had set up all those ways for us to get 'hooked'. I hope smooth-talking Max is better than I...*grin* |

Thanks, Max! So are we all supposed to turn over our Bush rebate checks to Mudcat? I thought I was supposed to be consumer durables, or at least half a one! Still, jump-starting Mudcat has great appeal. Cheerily, Charley Noble |

Subject: RE: Mudcat Move Update From: Big Mick Date: 01 May 08 - 03:39 PM OK, Spaw. You have fully rehabbed yourself. You had me worried when I saw the bead of sweat. As the originator and founding partner of the Layabouts at Large, I was starting to worry a bit. I thought you might be hanging around Offer a bit too much and starting to think that Max couldn't handle this shit without you. But your gesture to go to bed for Max just absolutely restores my faith in you. This is why you are a named partner. Well done. Wow..... I think I need a nap. All this work that Max has done is making me tired. Max..... you will get the bill for my nap in the mail. Got any food? All the best, Mick Lane, Fielding, Patterson & Swan Layabouts at Large and for Hire "It's the least we can do" |

Subject: RE: Mudcat Move Update From: The Fooles Troupe Date: 01 May 08 - 02:22 AM Well, I just needed to run TweakDUN (I normally do that when I get home after being away for a while anyway) to get the new IP number. I had done this before my last post above. I store the regular favourite often visited sites in the local HOSTS file - it speeds things up consderably - TweakDUN allows me to manipulate and update this easily. Still Win(x - :-P Hope you get time to have fun in your new 'Music Room'. Sounds like a good Sunday Morning Breakfast Room! :-) |
