Tried one this weekend and they worked a treat.

Dancing on carpet creates too much friction and in socks gives me blisters.

They must have an anaelgesic in because they worked almost immediately. So well my feet ached from the dancing, no pain though.

They reckon to absorb the liquid in the bubble - not sure how but it is better than bursting the blister.

The only proviso I would mention is that after a BH w/e the glue can start to move at the edges and stick to socks but I am not a prissy dancer - we dance ENGLISH ceilidhs.

Any thoughts on Compeed? or as I call them Stampede.

Quite good if you can keep them on, but Bonjela (the stuff for mouth ulcers) works pretty well.

Probably the best 'out of the box' remedy there is for blisters - worth every penny in my opinion. I've had youngsters with oozing bloody blisters who have gone on for another 10 miles thanks to Compeed.

There are other makes which do the trick - including a blister version of Elastoplast which is perhaps more widely available.

My missus recommends them highly when she's dancing (and not because I keep treading on her toes)
