What a remarkable gentleman. I esp. liked his answer near the end about what inventions he most liked...something to the effect most were brought about by the military or navy, made to kill, but the lifeboat was made to save lives and that's why he likes it. Seems his 110 years have made him wise,too. Plus, he said he feels about fifty!!

Happy Birthday to Harry and to the other chap they said is 112!

When I was a kid, some 50+ years ago, there were still a few US Civil War veterans alive, also in their 100s.

Makes you feel like history wasn't so long ago, doesn't it?
