Well, what a surprise! I'm just back from Two Rivers FF and checking what has been happening in Mudcatland over the weekend and came upon this thread. The event (60th birthday) isn't until Tuesday 8th - but I started retirement about two weeks ago, and seem to have been celebrating something for the past two weeks. Thank you all for your good wishes. For those of you who have been folking around the country this weekend I hope the weather has been kinder than it was in Chepstow, and certainly hoping for some sunshine for West Somerset Festival next weekend - Jack, Zak and I will see you there to continue the celebrations.

A lovely day - thanks for all your best wishes friends. I've just got back from my dance class where I had a most beautiful dance dedicated to me 'Like a Dream'. According to my teacher I "still dance like a dream even though I've reached the grand age of 60 years'. Beautiful piece of music too - with words so appropriate for somebody who is just retiring from the work treadmill:-
