Hello.
I've been thinking about this, the Scottish Andy Stewart, of Scottish Soldier fame, which instruments did he play? Did he ever play any instruments on his own recordings?
He composed a bunch of tunes, as Farewell 51st Farewell as a good example, but on which instrument. I remember seeing a picture of him playing a piano in an old "Andy Stewart Songbook".
Does anyone else know about this?

I'm would swear to it, but I think it was a B C C# melodeon.
