I started this thread an hour or so ago and it has had little response (only GUEST hg so far--

so in the belief that sometimes my incredibly fascinating threads fail to draw much response because I give them boring titles, I decided to see if I could entice people to read my latest via this subterfuge.

Amos, it's not out of a desire for personal attention that I started this thread to call attention to the other, but because I really want to get this message out as far as possible as fast as possible in order to get it to the attention of the Democrats in Congress--not only do I believe that it is a better way to spend the money, but opening the discussion to something other than just arguing about what conditions to put on the use of the money which currently seems destined to end up in the hands of Paulson/Bush. When I post this, I'm gonna call Dennis Kucinich's office to try to get him on it.
