I've only just noticed this thread but I'd like to add my get well wishes to everyone else's. I'm sure I'm not the only Mudcat member to appreciate Malcolm's enormous knowledge and scholarship.

I told Steve about this yesterday evening at around 5.00 pm UK time.

To get to over 100 messages in 24 hours is a great achievement and I am sure Malcolm will be delighted. Well done to all of you. If anything could revive anyone you can. Thanks you for all your prayers and messages of good will. And I have printed the thread (just the names I hasten to add).

I will see him this evening and will report on progress around 8.00 pm UK time.
