There will be celebrations on Tues 20 Nov 2009 at the Queens Head, Burley in Wharfedale, West Yorkshire.

They begin with the live TV showing of the inauguration ceremony then follow with food with US connotations chilli dogs, choc brownies, pizza and the perhaps "soon to be famous" Obamaburger, specially created by the Queens Head for the occasion; I've only seen a photo but it is truly a mountainous dish with salad, cheese, chicken, pineapple etc amongst the multiple burgers.

Music will initially be provided by the Wharfedale Saxophone Quartet.

November.....sounds like long term planning! he will have started another war by then and made himself unpopular.

I hope 'November' was a typo- might be a little late for the Inauguration. *g*

I am taking the day off to spend Inauguration morning with a crowd of other wellwishers at our local Centennial Hall to eat breakfast and watch the event on large screen television. It is an historic occasion and I'm excited about it.
