I did, in fact, have a great birthday. I worked in the garden, did laundry (not by hand!), and got rid of more things in the house as usual, but I was happy doing it. Chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream continue to be tasty treats. I tried my guitar and can play it some before my wrist hurts too much. That's progress.

I got your Bday prezzies into a box today and set the box by the door. I am confident that I will remember to take it out to the weehicle within several days I am fairly confident that I will remember to take it into the post office within a week or so. I only walk within 5 yards of the post office three to five times a week, so it should be there before Labour Day. Definitely by fall fer sure eh.

The newest chick is so new that when it tries to stand up it stumbles, and its round little belly keeps it from rolling back in its feet until a little nudge from mamma or my finger shifts the center of gravity.
